Justine has learned the beauty of aerial acrobatics, including Silks and Trapeze. She is constantly training and extending her knowledge in this form of art, and is able to perform when given the right opportunity. She has trained at The New York Circus Arts Academy in NYC as well as the Trapeze School of New York, and she looks to receive jobs that wow the crowd from 30 feet high.

 

RATES

As an aerialist, Justine is a stand-alone act. Jussie D Artistry is in the process of teaming up with other acts/artists on a regular basis. (if you are an act and interested in collaborating, please contact Jussie D Artistry directly). Of other acts are incorporated with Jussie D Artistry, the rate is subject to change. As a stand alone act, Jussie D Artistry's rates vary. $200.00-$400.00 an hour (with a two hour minimum)- Generally consists of three or four "10-15 minute" sets of aerial acrobatics, which can be enjoyed throughout your event. Particular performance(s) can be choreographed for a party with a theme with a length of 2:00-5:00 minutes long. Typical Gig Duration is between 5 minutes- 250 Minutes.

 

BOOKING YOUR EVENT

Before inquiring, please be sure to check with the location of your venue to ensure that they allow acts of this nature. Please consider artist's travel, performance time, setup and breakdown of set, and tax when viewing the full rate. Tax is not included until final billing of party. A $40.00 fee will be due prior to inspection of the venue. A deposit of half the total bill must be paid no less than 5 days prior to the scheduled event, or reservation will not be met. The remainder will be due the evening of the event. If the event is canceled less than 72 hours by the event holder, the deposit will be surrendered to the event holder, removing $175.00. In the event Jussie D Artistry cancels and cannot find a proper replacement, total payment made by the event holder will be surrendered, minus the $40.00 inspection fee. A binding contract will be signed between both parties drawn up by Jussie D Artistry. Please contact Justine directly about your event situation, and if you have budget limitations. She is willing to discuss payment plans or different options.

 

PERFORMERS INSURANCE

Jussie D Artistry CURRENTLY is covered by specialty insurance PER EVENT. The details can be forwarded as to what it covers, but will not be purchased unless booked for the event. All performers working with Jussie D Artistry are responsible for their own insurance.

 

STAGE/ SETUP REQUIREMENTS FOR AERIAL WORK

Please contact Justine if you have questions about your specific situation. She can visit or call your location to evaluate the rigging possibilities and recommend a qualified rigger if one is needed (a $40.00 inspection fee is required). Generally an Event venue should have a minimum height of 15 feet for any aerial performance. Venues or spaces with standard 8-9 ft ceilings have act limitations (static trapeze, lyra) No big drops on silks can be done. Rigging can be done to a structural beam, or in some cases, to existing trussing if allowed by the venue. Otherwise, Justine can travel with a portable 18.5 ft aerial rig that can be erected outdoors or in some cases, indoors (rig will need to be rented from an outside company at this time). Rigging that is done to any structural beams are generally hooked by a carabiner, and need to take about 2,000-4,000 pounds of breaking weight. Steel beams, such as those commonly found as structural members in many commercial buildings often make an excellent load bearing point. Large wooden beams, such as those commonly found as structural members in mill buildings and barns often make an excellent load bearing point.
